érive is a destination retreat for artists and other creatives, tucked neatly in the heart of Wisconsin's Driftless Area. We are dedicated to preserving Southwest Wisconsin's most cherished commodity—its land and wildlife—and to creating an organic exchange between artists and nature. Our guests are individuals from a wide variety of disciplines, including novelists, playwrights, poets, painters, sculptors, photographers, filmmakers, composers and those who simply want to be inspired by the pristine beauty of a land left untouched for tens of thousands of years. To quote essayist and philosopher Henry David Thoreau, 'I took a walk in the woods and came out taller than the trees.' Please join us for a walk in the wilderness.
